The Best Honey Glazed Fried Chicken With Butter Milk Biscuits Recipe

Honey Glazed Fried Chicken Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken drum sticks
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1+1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 black pepper
  • 1/2 white pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

For coating

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1+1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 white pepper
  • 1/2 black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Honey Glazed Fried Chicken Method

1. Firstly, pour the vinegar into the milk and let it sit for 10 minutes until it becomes curd like consistency.

2. Now in a large bowl add chicken and mix it with all the dry spices and rub it well then add the prepared butter milk and marinate it for at least 3 hours.

3. After 3 hours, in a separate bowl add flour and spices and mix well.

4. On the other hand preheat the oil for 12 minutes on medium to high flame.

5. Now take one drum stick and coat it in flour and then dip into the marination and again coat it in the flour and place it in a separate platter. (do not coat all the pieces at once).

6. Now fry the chicken for 14 minutes and turn then after 7 minutes and cook it on medium to low flame.Now enjoy the chicken hot with butter milk biscuits.


Butter Milk Biscuits Ingredients

2+1/2 cups all purpose flour

1 cup butter milk

1 tsp salt

1 cup butter (chilled)

Butter Milk Biscuits Method

1. In a large bowl, add flour and chilled graded butter and mix it with hand until crumbly then add salt and pour butter milk an mix until slightly combine.

2. Now transfer the dough on the work surface and kneed it for 5 minutes and fold it for 3 to 4 times and then roll it and cut biscuits with glass or cutter and place them on a baking sheet lined with butter paper and bake them for 15 to 20 minutes on 425 F in the center of the oven and then enjoy.

Easy SHRIMP TACOS with Best Shrimp Taco Sauce

Today I am going to share one of my favorite dish – shrimp tacos, they are so easy to make and they taste incredible.

Shrimp Tacos Ingredients

For shrimp marination:

225 g shrimps (peeled and deveined),

2 tbsp lemon juice,

1/2 tsp salt,

1/2 tsp smoked paprika,

1/2 tsp onion powder,

1/2 tsp garlic powder,

1/2 tsp white pepper,

1/2 tsp black pepper,

1 tsp cumin powder,

For mango salsa:

1 mango (chopped)

1 avocado (chopped)

1 tomato (chopped)

1 jalapeno (chopped)

1/2 bunch of fresh cilantro leaves (chopped)

2 tbsp lemon juice

1/4 tsp black pepper powder

1/4 tsp salt

For sauce:

1/2 cup sour cream (can mayonnaise too)

2 tsp cilantro leaves

2 tbsp lemon juice

For assembling:

6 flour tortillas

1 tbsp cilantro leaves

fresh lemon juice

Shrimp Tacos Method

1. In a bowl combine shrimps along with others spices and lemon juice and mix them well. Now in a hot pan drizzle some oil and cook shrimps 2 to 3 minutes per side then transfer into a different dish and keep it aside.

2. Now on the other hand, prepare mango salsa, in a bowl combine all the salsa ingredients and toss them well.

3. For the sauce combine sour cream, lemon juice and cilantro and mix well.

4. Toss the tortillas on a hot pan until slightly crunchy and golden brown.

5. For assembling take a tortilla, apply some sauce then some mango salsa the a layer of delicious shrimps then drizzle some more sauce, garnish it with some fresh cilantro leaves (chopped) and squeeze some fresh lemon juice and enjoy.
